Warranty
Refurbished Devices
The warranty period for our refurbished smartphones, laptops, and smartwatches is 6 months, starting from the invoice date issued by Hopla.
We also offer a 15-day replacement policy from the date of delivery. If you're not satisfied with your device, you can replace it within 15 days.
The accessories that come with your device, such as adapters, data cables, and batteries, have a 3-month warranty from the invoice date.
Please note that the warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser of the device and is not transferable to anyone else.
Warranty Requirements
If you need to claim warranty, you'll need to provide the original invoice with the retailer's name and date of purchase. This is necessary to verify your purchase and process your warranty claim.
How to Claim Warranty
- To claim warranty, you can contact us at care@hopla.in or visit a nearby store. Our team will guide you through the process and arrange for a pickup and drop-off of your device. Please note that a charge of INR 150 will be applicable for each pickup and drop-off.
- When you claim warranty, you'll need to provide the IMEI number or serial number of your device to establish the validity of the warranty period. You'll also need to share front, side, and back images of your device before we arrange for the pickup.
- In some cases, we may require you to record a video showcasing the issue with your device. This helps us to better understand the problem and provide a faster resolution.
Important Conditions
- Please note that the seal inside your device must be intact when you return it to us. If the seal is tampered with, we won't be able to provide a resolution.
- If you receive a damaged device or notice any physical condition issues, you must report it to us within 24 hours of delivery. Please also provide an unboxing video of your device to help us process your claim.
- During the warranty period, we may repair or replace your device. If we replace your device, the replacement will have a residual warranty period.
Return Policy
When you return your device, please make sure to package it properly to avoid any physical damage during transit. If the device is damaged due to improper packaging, we reserve the right to deduct or recover the cost of repairs.
Subcontracting of Services
We may subcontract our warranty services to other companies without notice to you. This is necessary to ensure that we can provide fast and efficient warranty services to our customers.
Agreement Completeness
This warranty agreement is the complete and exclusive agreement between Hopla and you, the customer. It outlines the terms and conditions governing the limited warranty coverage provided by us.
Force Majeure Clause
We shall not be liable for any delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of this warranty agreement shall be governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Reserved Rights
All rights are reserved with Hopla. We reserve the right to modify or change this warranty agreement at any time without notice to you.
Cessation of Warranty
This limited warranty agreement is entered into by and between Hopla and you, the customer. It outlines the terms and conditions governing the limited warranty coverage provided by us.
Conditions for Limited Warranty Coverage Cessation
Incorrect IMEI/Serial Number
If you fail to provide the correct IMEI number or serial number, your limited warranty coverage will cease.
IMEI/Serial Number Tampering
If the IMEI number or serial number on your device has been removed, defaced, altered, or does not match our records, your limited warranty coverage will cease.
Exclusions
Your limited warranty coverage will cease under the following conditions:
- Mishandling or misuse of the device
- Improper storage or exposure to moisture/dampness
- Extreme temperatures
- Unauthorized modifications or repair
- Acts of God
- Spill of foods or liquids
- Wrong adjustment to consumer controls
- Any other acts beyond our control
- Defects not resulting from normal wear and tear
- Failure to Report Defect
- If you don't report the alleged defect or malfunction during the applicable warranty period, your limited warranty coverage will cease.
- Unauthorized Accessories/Software
- If you use your device with unauthorized accessories or software not supplied or authorized by us, your limited warranty coverage will cease.
Quality Check Parameters
Devices with reported issues will be subjected to our quality control parameters.
Performance Variations
Your limited warranty coverage does not apply to performance variations arising due to the passage of time, sustained usage, climatic conditions, or the entry of extraneous particles.
Backup Responsibility
You must ensure the backup of your user configuration, data, settings, third-party software/add-ins, etc. We and our authorized service center are not responsible for restoring/re-installing/backup, as these may be lost, changed, or altered during the repair or replacement process.
Billing for Non-Covered Charges
You will be billed for any part and/or workmanship/labor charges not covered under this limited warranty.
Product Information Changes
All warranty information, product features, and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
This limitation of liability applies to all circumstances, including damages sought, claims made under this limited warranty agreement, tort claims (including negligence and strict product liability), contract claims, or any other claim. This limitation of liability is effective even if you have advised us or our representative of the possibility of such damages or if such possibility was reasonably foreseeable. This limitation of liability cannot be waived or modified by any person.
By accepting the product covered by this Limited Warranty Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to follow the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
